Sunrise Community Farm Center is such a special place, and we are so grateful to Mina for all the incredible work she puts into the community! My kids have been attending for a year across summer camp, Saturday rides, mini-camps, and after-school programs. They are always happy and having fun outdoors. They've learned so much about nature—whether it's caring for the horses, ponies, bunnies, and chickens, or learning about the farm's vegetable garden and fruit trees. Highly recommend visiting!

When I first moved here I was looking for a new barn to ride at, and I am so grateful to have found this place. Everyone was so welcoming and I soon got to know this amazing place. All of the horses are treated so well, and have their own unique personality. This is a great place to do lessons if you’re looking for a low pressure environment where you can still learn and grow! Not only do they have an amazing lesson program but they also have many volunteering opportunities, small animals, and so many other activities. You should totally go check it out!

As someone not from NC, I really wanted to do a grad shot in a farm to commemorate my time here. I emailed Mina regarding doing a grad shot here and she responded very fast helping us coordinate the horses and the shoot. My photographer and I felt very welcomed at the farm and the horses are beautiful and very gentle. They also have other animals like rabbits and goats, we had a great time!

Took my little one over the weekend who had suddenly gotten the idea to “ride a horse” to the first time. Staff were incredible, and she *loved* riding Sunshine! The young man who walked with us showing around the farm was so helpful. Equally enjoyed petting and feeding the bunnies, goats, and pigs. She’s already asked to go back!

We had an amazing two-hour experience at Sunrise Community Farm Center. Justin was incredibly patient with our 6-year-old, who had numerous questions throughout the visit. Highlights were the horseback ride with Spence and animal feeding sessions. Spence's extensive knowledge and his emphasis on treating animals with respect made a lasting impression. If you're in the area, I highly recommend a visit to this farm.
